SECURITY agencies in Ondo State have vowed to curb the alarming rate of kidnapping and cultism in the state.
No fewer than ten persons have been killed by warring cult groups across the state while no fewer than ten persons have been kidnapped in the last few weeks
About 100 youths recently renounced their membership of the dreaded secret cults across the state following the clamdown on them by security operatives in the state.
The 32 Artillery Brigade Commandant in Akure Brigadier James Ataguba and the state police commissioner Hilda Harrison said in Akure, the Ondo state capital that they were on top of the matter.
They spoke at the inauguration of building projects executed by the Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
Ataguba said that all the security agencies in the state are synergising to stamp out criminality across the state.
