ASABA—MEMBERS of a vigilante group at Oruhde quarters, Ozoro, Delta State, have tracked and apprehended a six-man robbery gang while they were assembling for an operation in the area and recovered their arms.
Meanwhile, a suspected bandit reportedly run amuck at Agbarha-Otor community, near Ughelli, shooting and wounding a vigilante Chairman, who led his men to arrest him.
The state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zanna Ibrahim, who confirmed their arrest to Vanguard, said: “The vigilantes at Oruhde Quarters, Ozoro, trailed and arrested the suspects and recovered the exhibit. The suspects were arrested while preparing for a mission.”
