Oleh Community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State has been urged to make land available for the establishment of the Warri Catholic Diocese University.

The Pillar of Catholic Men Organisation, CMO, Lagos Deanery, Mr Vincent Omovusu, who made the appeal in a chat with newsmen in Lagos, said that same had became necessary because the Warri Catholic Diocese University is a golden opportunity that the community must take advantage of, especially now that her son, His Eminence Dr John Afareha, is the bishop of the diocese.

He stated that the diocese, through the bishop, has been requesting the community to donate plots of land for the institution to be sited in Oleh, lamenting that, till now, the community was not forthcoming with good response to the request, probably because they are oblivious of its future benefits and multiplier effects to the community.

He maintained that, Oleh community might lose the opportunity of hosting the university if the agitation for payment for plots of land persists, revealing that, some communities in other parts of the state were waiting and willing to donate generously toward the execution of the project in their community without monetary compensation.
