LAGOS— In the spirit of the yuletide and the new year, Hi-Impact Planet, an amusement, theme park and resort, located in Ogun State, has begun a 13-day holiday fanfare for the public as part of the official launch of its performing stage which is reputed to be the biggest in Africa.

The stage, which measures 42 metres by 14 metres, has the highest collection of rope light in Africa and can accommodate over 1,000 people, was put to test on December 26, 2016 during Hi-Impact Praise Blast.

Speaking shortly after the event, Managing Director, Hi-Impact Planet, Mr. Adeyeloye Lipede, said the Africa Night and Praise Blast, which was the highpoint of the activities, recorded over 20 performances from home and abroad with more than 10,000 fun-seekers in attendance.

“In the mood of the season, Hi-Impact Planet lined up series of activities to entertain our guests and the public which commenced in December 2016 continues in January 2017.”

On its activities, Lipede said the Africa Night concert aimed at showcasing African culture, design and food while the Praise Blast allowed people to appreciate God for the year.

He said: “The maiden edition of our Praise Blast had in attendance the likes of Nathaniel Bassey, Frank Edwards, RCCG praise team, TREM HQ choir, Ayan Jesu, Sewele Jesu, Midnight Crew, Daystar Choir with special appearance from Mrs. D. Fasoyin and living legend like Evang. Ebenezer Obey.”
