LAGOS—Cultists, Wednesday, went on rampage in Igbe Kapo area of Ikorodu, Lagos, leaving in their trail the death of a 24-year-old barber.

Some residents also sustained injuries in the resultant stampede.

The deceased, identified as Ademola Olarape, was shot dead in front of a saloon opposite Ijede palace, where he worked as a stylist.

Vanguard gathered that there was a cult war in the area, during which cultists unleashed mayhem on rival members as well as innocent residents.
