THE National Bureau of Statistics, NBS yesterday predicted that Nigeria’s economy is likely to shrink by 1.3 per cent in 2016 , contrary to a higher 1.7 per cent predicted by the International Monetary Fund, IMF.

Rivers State Government has forwarded an executive bill to the state House of Assembly, seeking the amendment of the law setting up Ignatius Ajuru University of Education to among other things allow Professors with degrees in areas outside education qualify to be appointed Vice Chancellor of the school.
