The Nigerian army, Monday, laid to rest seven military men slain by the Boko Haram terrorist group during their mission to rescue abducted people and rid the country of the terrorist sect. Among those laid to rest was late Lt.-Col. Muhammad Abu-Ali.

The soldiers died when the terrorists attempted to seize Mallam Fatori on Nov. 4 in an attack. They were inducted into the Operation Lafiya Dole in 2014, designed to fight the Boko Haram insurgents and liberate the North-East from their hold.
