ENUGU—A 26-year-old man, Ibrahim Saad, alleged to be a serial house burglar, has been arrested by police at Golf Estate, GRA, Enugu.

The state Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the arrest of the suspect, said police acted on a tip-off, when it apprehended the suspected burglar.

According to her, “Saad, who claimed to hail from Balewa Local Government Area of Adamawa State, with his other gang members, have been terrorising residents of the estate. The suspect was nabbed by operatives at about 2.30a.m., as he was about breaking into a house at Golf Estate, Enugu, having gained entrance with a ladder and other dangerous implements.

“He is now helping the operatives in their investigations in relation to his nefarious activities with other fleeing members of the gang.”
