The duo made the commendation in their separate remarks when they led other stakeholders to monitor the ongoing polio immunisation in 10 wards of Gubio.

Responding, Zanna Modu expressed satisfaction with efforts of the Federal Government, WHO, UNICEF and Borno State government towards the fight against polio and other child-killer diseases in the state.

It would be recalled that after more than two polio-free years, Federal Government in collaboration with World Health Organisation, WHO, reported three laboratory-confirmed wild polio virus type one (WPV1) cases between July and August in Gwoza and Jere Local Government areas of the state.
