Nigeria  Football Sports Supporters Club has accused President of Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick of working with some expelled members of the club to form a parallel body, warning him to steer clear of the activities of the club.

According to a statement from the club signed by its Deputy National President General, Alhaji Yusuf Adenrele and the club’s acting National PRO, Hafeez Balogun, they accused the NFF boss of trying to create division and bad blood among members of the club even as they alerted the general public about clandestine moves by Pinnick and some discredited members of the club to register another body known as Nigeria Football Federation Supporters Club.

“It is surprising that Pinnick whose emergence as NFF President is still marred in controversy has not deemed it fit to reflect on why all the country’s national teams failed to book qualification for continental championships but rather he is busy causing division in our great club.

“We want to believe that he is doing this out of tribal sentiments to help one of his townsmen who was impeached and suspended from office.

“Pinnick should realize that Supporters Club is not under the NFF or government; but a nonprofit making organization.”

He should also understand that the club has won certificates of recognition as the best Supporters club both by FIFA and CAF and he cannot bring disunity amongst the members but he should rather face his job of ensuring that Nigeria qualifies for Russia 2018 World Cup because Nigerians will not forgive him if the Super Eagles fails to be in Moscow”, the statement noted.

The statement reminded Nigerians that those behind the moves     to register a parallel body, led by impeached former acting national chairman of the club, Vincent Okumagba are presently under investigation by the Brazilian Embassy and Interpol, Alagbon Close for presenting fake documents to the embassy and as such are   out to dupe unsuspecting Nigerian public.
