Agbarho—The father of 28 years old Larry Okah, allegedly abducted over seven months ago, by suspected members of the Agbarho Community Vigilante group, Delta State, yesterday, said his life was in danger, following several calls to his phone by the same people he suspects were behind the disappearance and subsequent murder of his son.

The victim’s father, Wilson Okah, who raised the alarm, has appealed to the state Commissioner of Police, the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 5, Benin City, Edo State, as well as the Inspector General of Police to come to his rescue and bring the suspects to book.

He said: “Since I went to the newspapers to cry out over my son, who was abducted over seven months ago by suspected members of the Agbarho Vigilante group and how the police have been frustrating the case, I have received several threat calls and text messages from the suspects, saying they would resurface to kill me.

“My son was abducted on January 17, 2016, while relaxing with his friends at a drinking spot in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State by the suspects, who I know as members of the Agbarho community vigilante group. They were arrested and detained but were released after few hours and they are currently boasting in town that they will kill me too.”
