Abeokuta—The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ogun State has urged Governor Ibikunle Amosun to set up a probe panel on the recent collapsed Itoku market building which killed one woman and injured several others.

The PDP stated this, through the Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development ,representing Remo Federal Constituency of the State, Oladipupo Adebutu when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at Emere in Abeokuta.

Adebutu who donated the sum of N500,000 to aged mother of the deceased Noyinmotu Sikiru, said the government should bring the culprit to book and not sweep the incident under the carpet.

He said: “It is important to recognise that irrespective of culprits, we must have a true analysis of the facts. We must know the truth and in doing so, prevent a recurrence.’’
