PDP chieftain lauds Gov Ugwuanyi on devt

ENUGU—President General of Agbudu Autonomous Community in Enugu State and deputy chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Awgu Local Government Area of the state, Hon. Chukwujekwu Nebo has commended the state governor, Mr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his outstanding performance in his first year in office in spite of the economic depression in the country today.

In a statement made available to journalists in his office,Nebo noted that the governor has within this period ensured relative peace and unity, especially within the party as can be attested by the recent successful conduct of the party’s congress at ward, local government and state levels.

Speaking on the achievement of the governor within this period, the PDP chieftain noted that Ugwuanyi had been able to construct many roads within the state such as Holy Ghost, Ridgeway Road, Airport Roundabout, Emene-Eke Obinagu Road, Opi Nsukka dual carriage way, 9th Mile By-pass, Amankwo-Ameke Amah Brewery and many ongoing road projects.

He also commended the governor on his handling of the recent herdsmen’s attack on Nimbo community, and the donations to the affected people and payment of hospital bills of the wounded, among other palliatives.
