UMUAHIA—THE traditional ruler of Alaoma Omoba Autonomous Community in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State, Eze Godwin Nwankanma Nwankpa, has called on the South-East governors to work as a team and speak with one voice for the good of the zone.
According to Eze Nwankpa, it is only by working together that the governors can jointly and effectively tackle the numerous problems of economic hardships, deplorable condition of federal roads, threat of herdsmen and other societal challenges.
The monarch noted that solving these problems requires the cooperation of the governors and team spirit of the people of the South-East.
Nwankpa warned that if the governors are not united, they would not achieve much, just as he called on them to make the welfare of their people a priority.
He condemned the insecurity in the country, vowed to fight all acts of criminality in his domain and condemned the recent killings in Nimbo, Enugu State, by Fulani herdsmen.
