Nigeria on Wednesday recalled Olympiakos striker Brown Ideye, who failed to justify a then-record club transfer to English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion, for two friendlies next month.

Ideye has revived his career at the Greek champions after a difficult time at The Hawthorns, where he arrived in 2014 on a 10-million-pound ($14.5-million, 12.9-million-euro) transfer from Dynamo Kiev.

The 27-year-old last featured for the victorious Super Eagles side at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
