For his inspirational leadership and immense contributions to the development of Bussdor Football Club over the years , the management of the Port Harcourt based team has reappointed former Abia State governor and Africa Pillar of Sports Dr Orji Uzor Kalu as the club’s deputy chairman.
In a statement signed by the president and proprietor of Bussdor, Oscar Igbokwe dated October 27, the management said the board, after it’s meeting on October 21 decided to reappoint the business mogul for another tenure.
He was first appointed on March 14, 2013.
“We are pleased to inform you that the board of Bussdor United FC after her board meeting on October 21 deemed it fit to reappoint you as the Deputy Chairman of the club.
“This reappointment was necessitated by your sterling leadership qualities demonstrated over the past two years that you were appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the club.
“We appreciate your outstanding contributions to the development of the club and the game of football in Nigeria, Africa and the world over.
We therefore wish you God’s continous protection, strength and the courage to carry out your responsibilities diligently,” the statement read.
