The Police Command, (AIT, Alagbado Police), has said that the police are combat ready to maintain peace and security during and after the general elections on Saturday, March 28 and April 11, 2015 respectfully.
The Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP Adepoju Ilori, said a peaceful meeting was held with various groups such as traditional rulers, CDA, community leaders and the landlords on how to maintain existing good relationship and uninterrupted security system before, during and after the forthcoming polls.
He warned the hoodlums, miscreants and political thugs not to cause trouble, adding that anyone caught will be dealt with accordingly.
