ENUGU — Enugu State chapter of All Progressives Congress,APC, yesterday,lampooned the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, over the concession of Enugu city water supply which the party claimed was shrouded in illegality.

Enugu State House of Assembly had last week commenced probe into the 25 years concession which the Commissioner for Water Resources, Mr. Micheal Nwachukwu, revealed it never had the enabling law backing the concession.

APC chairman, Enugu State, Mr. Ben Nwoye, charged Enugu people to stand up against the PDP-led government, insisting that”Governor Sullivan Chime’s eight years in office has been a business put together for his family,friends and cronies.

“Based on the facts on ground,many of the House members are not going back. They have been part and parcel of schemes orchestrated by the government to defraud Enugu people.
