Nsukka people in UK commend Chime over choice of senatorial candidate

EOPLE FROM Nsukka geo-political zone living in the United Kingdom, have applauded Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State over what they called, ‘his consistency in delivering gains of democracy”

Speaking under the aegis of Nsukka Welfare Association UK, President of the group, David Anie Okoro stated that the governor has assuaged the wishes of his people by his choice of people that will handle the mantle of leadership in the state after his tenure.
Specifically, the group commended the backing he gave the newly elected senatorial candidate for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Enugu North senatorial zone, Hon. Chukwuka Utazi whom they described as “a great and humble leader.”

According to Okoro: “Hon. Utazi is a great and humble leader that would be used by God to lead our senatorial area into greater developments in all areas and we wish him God’s grace and protection as he builds an Enugu North that will serve and last.

“Hon. Chukwuka Utazi has achieved greatness. He did not stumble into greatness and the reason he has the mandate of the PDP for Enugu North senatorial zone is because the party under the leadership of Barrister Sullivan Chime in Enugu State has seen in Hon. Utazi, a leader that loves his people and would do all that is required to ensure that Nsukka senatorial zone maximises its potential.”
