Why I want to be Imo gov in 2015 — Njemanze

Former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Imo State, Sir Ken Njemanze, SAN, has disclosed that he is eminently qualified to mount the saddle of leadership as the next governor of Imo State.

Njemanze, who spoke in Abuja where he secured his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to seek nomination as the PDP’s governorship flag-bearer.

Njemanze paid the mandatory fees at the national headquarters of the party on Monday, collected the forms to signal his formal interest in the governorship primaries, yesterday.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria and scion of the Njemanze Ruling House believes that the purchase of the party’s Expression of Interest and Nomination forms is the first step towards realising his ambition of emergence as the Imo PDP governorship flag-bearer and to be elected the governor of the state.

The former Attorney General, who spoke while being handed the forms by the Party’s National Organising Secretary Abubakar Mustapha, explained that the procurement of the forms signifies his unwavering determination to be a major contender for the Imo governorship seat on the platform of the PDP.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria, said he believes that PDP will let the will of the people prevail in the primaries.
