Ado Ekiti—Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose, has pledged to halt the falling standard of education in the state, saying the state government cannot afford to toy with education of its youths.

The governor further promised to take the issue of teachers’ welfare seriouslyand provide public schools with physical infrastructure and teaching materials.

Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, in Ado-Ekiti yesterday, the governor promised improvement in the performance of students in public examinations.
