LAGOS—The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos, yesterday, reserved judgments in two separate appeals by Lagos socialite, Fred Ajudua against the ruling of a Lagos High Court, which refused his bail application.

Trial judge at the lower court, Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye had refused Ajudua’s application, in a charge by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, against him over alleged fraud.

Ajudua in the charge was said to have defrauded former Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ishaya Bamaiyi (rtd) of about $8.4 million.
