Delta State governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Peter Okocha, yesterday said employment, education, security and war against corruption would be his priorities, if given the opportunity to govern the state.

Okocha said: “It is a good government that can ensure that the robust political economy of Delta State and its society and varied alluring cultures can be held together and such desired unity can only be guaranteed in the foundations of social and economic justice, peace and stability.

“My mission is to create the values that would make for resource development, accelerated industrialization and mechanized agriculture, thereby making the state a major player in the development aspirations of Nigeria.

“There shall be minimum goals and target under my leadership and the government shall consist of men and women who have talent, knowledge, skills and flair for management and team spirit.

“If given the opportunity to serve, my cabinet shall be balanced, talent driven, qualitative, knowledge driven, motivated and equitable and I will ensure that the resource and revenue accrued to the state are well managed.”
