The Chief Executive Officer of Slimburg Limited, Votu Obada has declared interest to run for the 2015 governorship election in Delta State.

Obada, son of former Federal Commissioner for Works, General Osio Obada (retd), indicated his interest to run for the post, having garnered considerable experience in service delivery and politics both home and abroad.

His declaration was made known to journalists when the group, Concerned Deltans for Good Governance, CDGG, paid him a visit in his Lagos office.

Endorsing him, the group expressed its concerns over what they call recycling of old hands and expressed hope that ‘’youthful agent of change like Obada would be given the chance to bring the dynamic change Delta State needs.’’
