KANO — The Joint Taskforce, JTF, in Kano State has denied holding in custody, 16 female suicide bombers.
The JTF spokesman, Capt. Ikechukwu Eze, in a statement urged the general public to disregard such rumours.

Capt. Eze said: “The general public is hereby advised to disregard the purported story making the rounds with regards to the arrest of 16 girls linked with Sambisa forest and Chibok girls following its publication by some media houses.

“The report is not true and did not emanate from the JTF in Kano. We advise the media and their representatives to always cross check with us before going to press.”
He assured the public would be kept posted if the need arose.
