Man cries out over missing wife in Ogun


ABEOKUTA— A 34-year-old man, Samuel Edibo has cried out over the sudden disappearance of his wife, Blessing, a mother of five, three weeks ago.

Edibo who hails from Kogi State  but resides at Odolameso in Ijebu-Mushin in Ijebu North-East Local Government Area of Ogun State, explained that his wife went to settle her N50 kerosene debt on the same street and never came back home.

Edibo, who works with a private security firm and is also a farmer, said the disappearance of Blessing, 30, was revealed to him while he was on night duty.
According to him, “on April 23, 2014, I was at  work when my brother called me that they have been looking for my wife since the previous day.

“She told them she wanted to give someone N50 for kerosene she bought earlier and she did not come back home.
“Police have arrested three people in connection with the disappearance of my wife.”
Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident,  saying the command has swung into action to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of the woman.

He also explained that one suspect has been arrested and that the State Investigation Bureau has taken over the matter.
