Ambrose
Celtic FC captain Scott Brown will face 2014 World Cup-bound teammate Efe Ambrose when Scotland and Nigeria play each other in an international friendly at Craven Cottage tonight.
Ambrose, who was key to helping Nigeria win last year’s Africa Cup of Nations trophy, and Brown have been having friendly banter about tomorrow’s fixture.
“I’ve been having some banter with Efe and it will be good to see him as we have had 10 or 12 days off since the end of the season” said Brown, in an exclusive interview with Celtic View.
“I might just play against him and get a bit of banter from him and see what he gives me!
“But it will be good to get a game for Scotland as it’s a while since I’ve played for my country and to get a team like Nigeria is great.
“They will be going to the World Cup and getting ready for it, while we want to see how good we are as we’ve had some great results lately and we want to continue that,” he told Celtic View.
Nigeria are in World Cup Group F along with Iran, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Argentina for June’s world showpiece in Brazil.
