Accord party has expressed concern over the level of insecurity in the sate saying politics is not a do or die affair and urged them to look up to God who only can set up a king.

Addressing party supporters at Ijero-Ekiti yesterday, the gubernatorial candidate of Accord party , Mr Kole Ajayi stated that the level of violence among APC, Labour and PDP supporters is embarrassing and called on security agencies to be decisive in order to apprehend the thugs of the three parties who use weapons to cause disorder.

Ajayi specifically referred to the shoot-out between APC and Labour at Ilawe-Ekiti yesterday where innocent people were trapped in the cross fire between the two parties.
Ajayi advised the contenders to see that it is only “God that crowns the King and that the electioneering campaign should be pursued without rancour. “
