The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oshimili South Constituency of Delta State, weekend, endorsed the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Mr.  Peter Onwusanya, to contest the 2015 state House of Assembly election for a second tenure.

The leadership of the party in the area which  took the decision after its meeting at the party’s secretariat, said Onwusanya was adopted based on his achievements as a legislator.
The party also passed a vote of confidence in Onwusanya for working in synergy with the executive to attract developmental projects to the area.

Chairman of PDP in Oshimili South Local Government Area, Evangelist Ebielim Maduemezie, who addressed the meeting, comprising local government and ward executives, insisted that the party leadership had critically considered and appraised Onwusanya’s performance since his assumption of office and was satisfied with his empowerment programmes.
