We have seen many romances come and go in the entertainment world. While some have endured and seen the end of the altar, many ended even before they could get off the start line. But one thing remains: these celebrities have a knack for going for each, either for love, for fun or just an image gag, to score some recognition points. Here are some who hit the rocks for one reason or the other:

Tonto Dike and Don Jazzy
The gist of her romance with Don Jazzy was widely spread as she even acknowledged him in some of the interviews she granted , referring to him as her boyfriend. The romance was widely celebrated before it hit the rocks.

Shortly after her breakup with Don Jazzy, she was alleged to have dated the movie producer, Tchidi Chikere and that may explain why she does get lead roles in most of his movies.

Yvonne Nelson and Iyanya

The much talked about romance between Kukere master, Iyanya and Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has hit the rocks. The pair began dating in July 2012 and were spotted together at several functions. In his second hit single, ‘Your waist’, the maiden winner of Project Fame West Africa, repeatedly sang how much he adored the actress’ body. According to the actress, the reason why the relationship ended, was because Iyanya, was allegedly seeing another actress, Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh.

D’Banj and Geneveive Nnaji
Nollywood star actress, Geneveive Nnaji has been rumoured to be in a sizzling relationship with popular hip-hop star, Dapo Oyebanjo a.k.a D’banj and everyone thought it was altar-bound, until the devil reared its ugly head and the whole affair collapsed like a pack of badly arranged cards. D’Banj and Genevieve had dated on and off from 2009 to 2011 before Genevieve called off the relationship because of D’banj’s commitment issues.

KCee and Ebube Nwagbo
Nollywood actress, Ebube Nwagbo’s romance with Kingsley of KC Presh was pronounced before it hit the rocks and Kingsley got married to another lover. The Limpopo crooner and Ebube ‘s romance enjoyed an undeniable buzz in the media until another lady, Ijeoma, which Kcee married later burst the bubble. But the romance still reverberates with some latest stories that the lovebirds may still be seeing each other.

Kate Henshaw and Sammie Okposo
Although gospel music award winner Sammy Okposo and star actress Kate Henshaw’s love affair ended several years ago,many in the showbiz industry still make reference to the affair and still wonder why it never led to the duo marrying each other.

About four years ago in an interview he granted a leading softsell magazine,Sammy had stated that he and Kate Henshaw didn’t get married because he was not physically and psychologically ready at the time, which led to Kate quitting the relationship to marry her Briton husband, Mr.Nuttal.

Jim & Keturah

Jim Iyke and Kenturah Hamilton
Their romance was strong, and Jim had spoken severally of plans to walk down the aisle with her. Put simply, Keturah Hamilton – the Jamaican born actress, model and business woman was the partner tailor-made for Jim Iyke.

Keturah was known all over the Nollywood firmament as Jim Iyke’s main girlfriend – a wife
in waiting. They had travelled the world together, and she had stood by him through most of the scandals that has continued to dog his professional and private life.
But he was said to have ended their six year old affair by simply walking away “without even a phone call”.

Odunlade Adekola and Taiwo Aromokun
Popular yoruba actress, Taiwo Aromokun and top actor, Odunlade Adekola’s romance ended few years ago. Taiwo allegedly decided to end the relationship when it became obvious that Odun was not ready to take a second wife, since he was married with two sons.
