Godsday Orubebe
As the race for Governor Emmanuel Udughan’s successor heats up in Delta State, a former leader in the state and member of Waterways Security Committee, Mr. Aroni Oputu, has asked former Niger Delta Affiars Minister, Elder Godsday Orubebe, to withdraw from the race
In a statement, yesterday, Oputu said he will work against Orubebe’s governorship ambition.
He said: “He should step-down on his ambition because I don’t think it will be possible for him to even win primaries let alone the general election.”
Oputu noted that by the 2015 governorship zoning formula, it was supposed to be the turn of Delta North senatorial district to produce the next governor of the state.
