WARRI—YOUNGER brother to Ogiame, the Olu of Warri and All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain in Delta State, Prince Yemi Emiko, has called on voters in Delta Central senatorial district to turn out en masse and vote for APC in the forthcoming by-election slated for October 12 in the area.
Prince Emiko, a former Chevron Nigeria Limited General Manager, in charge of Community Relations, in a statement in Warri, said that the spirit and soul of late Senator Pius Ewherido would be delighted to see a progressive and hard working achiever, like Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, elected into the Senate, for effective representation, and to continue with the people-oriented legacies left behind by the late dynamic politician.
Emiko said: “At APC, we are not defined by tribe, creed or dogma. We are defined by our collective desire to reclaim our lives, rebuild our communities, and usher in change that would reset the current lazy mantra of ‘Delta no de carry last,’ to the more appropriate ‘Delta State, number one.”
