ADO EKITI — Confusion trails the planned visit of the President Goodluck Jonathan to  Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, ABUAD, the first privately owned university in Ado Ekiti  tomorrow, as the two prominent parties in the state, opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the  ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, are accusing each other of plans to attack the convoy of the  president.

The APC was the first to accuse PDP of planned mayhem designed to implicate it.

Meantime, Afenifere Chieftain and PDP governorship aspirant in Ekiti State, Prince Dayo Adeyeye has called on the Police and the Directorate of State Service, DSS, in Ekiti State to investigate claim by the APC Chairman, Mr. Jide Awe that the PDP was planning to cause chaos during President Goodluck Jonathan’s visit to the state on Saturday.

Adeyeye, who said he was miffed that up till now, Jide Awe had not been questioned four days after he made the allegation, said it was only in Nigeria that people just wake up and make spurious allegations concerning the national security and security agents will not do anything.

The president is billed to pay a visit to ABUAD Saturday where he is expected to commission certain projects including the College of Engineering Building where the institution is to present   its first set of graduates for convocation.

Also, the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, the Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro and the Deputy Director General, United Nations Educational Science and Cultural Organisation, UNESCO, Dr  Lalla Aicha Ben Barka are to be conferred with the honorary awards of the university.
