Coach attributes victory at Super 4 Para-soccer to hard work

Lagos – Musa Ibrahim, the Coach of Team Sardauna on Sunday attributed his team’s victory at the 6th Super 4 Para-soccer tournament to hard work.

Team Sardauna defeated Team Awo, 2-1 at the finals of the one-day competition held at the Indoor Sports Hall, University of Lagos.

Ibrahim said that the victory was well deserved and commended his players for their hard work.

“I am so happy and excited at winning the competition. My players have done a great job and I am proud of them. We prepared well for the competition.

The players’ determination and commitment contributed to the victory,’’ he said.

He also commended the sponsors of the competition for supporting the physically challenged players through the annual competition.

The coach appealed to corporate bodies and public-spirited individuals to support the initiative by sponsoring more of its programmes.

The  four teams – Team Zik, Team Nkrumah, Team Awo and Team Sardauna- participated in the competition sponsored by Promasidor Nigeria Ltd., on Oct. 5.

Each players in the winning team received N100, 000.

Each of the players in Team Zik received N40,000 for placing second while players of Team Nkrumah and Team Awo received N30,000 and N20,000 for placing third and fourth respectively. (NAN)
