Anambra North, the only senatorial zone yet to produce a governor, it seems would not mind going down on all fours to achieve that goal. That is exactly what members of the Anambra North chapter of the Willy Obiano Campaign Organisation are doing with their desperate plea to citizens from other senatorial zones to support their brother, Willy Obiano, the APGA candidate.

Addressing newsmen in Awka acting chairman of the campaign organization, Mr. Peter Madubueze said that for the purpose of this particular election that politicians across party lines have come together to ensure the victory of Obiano.

“Over the years, we have been clamouring for Anambra North to be given the opportunity to produce governor and this is the time we have been waiting for.”

“Given Obiano’s background, he is the best candidate among the contestants who can take Anambra State to great height of development. It is our considered view that the choice of Obiano will engender peace and stability in the politics of Anambra State.

“We therefore urge our brothers and sisters from Anambra Central and South senatorial zones to support his candidacy and vote massively for him in the election, just as we had done in the past for candidates from other zones so that altogether, we can enthrone equity and fairness through Willy Obiano’s assumption of office as the next governor of the state in March, 2014.”
