Lagos—Two men, Musa Haruna, 27, and Sheriff Olorunfemi, 27, were yesterday arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court, for allegedly burgling an office and stealing valuables worth N1.3 million.
The defendants, who reside at 34, Nofiu Close, Onigbongbo, Maryland, Ikeja, and 18, Olayemi Street, Ikeja, respectively, were arraigned before Magistrate Akinde.
They are facing a-four count charge of conspiracy, burglary, stealing and receiving stolen items preferred against them by the police.
The prosecutor, Inspector Chinalu Uwadione, said that the defendants and others at large conspired and committed the alleged offence at 2.30a.m, on August 12, at 56b, Oduduwa way, GRA, in Ikeja area of Lagos.
Akinde granted the defendants bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till November 4 for mention.
