Former Nigeria youth international, James Igwilo has expressed confidence that the Super Eagles would pick one of Africa’s  2014 World Cup tickets to Brazil ahead of Ethiopia in the last round of the qualifiers beginning next month.

Speaking in a telephone chat from his Ireland base, Igwilo who is the Chief Executive of Insaka Sports in Ireland said the draw which pitched Nigeria against Ethiopia has made Eagles’ road to Brazil  easier, but warned against complacency.

The 1995 Flying Eagle and Olympic team member  said, “I’m very happy with the draw and I must say that Nigerians here in Ireland are happy too with the draw making our road to Brazil a little bit easier. But, they do not  have to underrate the Ethiopia because they are a very good team. We have played them before in the last African Nations Cup in South Africa and we saw their strength as a good side.

Igwilo, an Ambassador of Sports in Ireland lauded Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi saying, “I must say that Keshi is doing a very good job  with the team so far. Nigerians are beginning to have confidence anytime the Eagles are playing”.

He solicited for more support for both Keshi and the team adding that the major problem with Nigerian football was not the coaches but the administrators.
