ABC Transport has deployed three new coaches for its Sleeper Service. The new coaches are configured to suit the peculiar needs of late travels. Each coach is equipped with fully-reclinabale seats, comfortable footrests, toilet facility, spacious seating arrangement, security surveillance cameras on-board, GPRS tracking technology, and speed limiters.

Expanding on its re-fleeting programme, ABC Transport has deployed 12 new mini buses to service its Shuttle Service in Port Harcourt, Enugu, Calabar, Uyo, Warri, Awka, and Owerri. Some of the new buses will service the newly introduced ABC Shuttle Servicefrom Warri and Benin to Lagos. In addition, ABC Sprinter Servicehas commenced operations on Owerri-Lagos route daily. Economy class coach service has also been introduced on some routes too.

According to the management of the company, the custmers are now enjoying timely departure and earlyarrival due to the improvement.

Keen on satisfying service demands within Benin City, ABC Transport has opened a more convenient terminal at INE Oil Limited, off Km 8 Benin-Lagos Expressway, Euboumore Village, Edo State, while ABC Cargo Expresshas established an outlet at C23, Anambra Complex, Balogun, inside Trade Fair, Ojo, Lagos, as part of its cargo expansion plan.

Meanwhile, ABC Transport will be holding its 20thAnnual General Meeting on 23rdAugust 2013 at Ariana Hall, Concorde Hotel Owerri. Presenting its audited financial statements for the year ended 31stDecember 2012 to the public, Management of ABC Transport declared that the company recorded growth in Turnover of 11.18% and Gross Profit of 31.26% over the amounts recorded in 2011. Profit before Tax and Profit after Tax also recorded a growth of 444.64% and 413.67% respectively over amounts recorded in 2011.
