3 remanded for alleged robbery

LAGOS —  Three men, Emmanuel Oyedepo, Jamiu Shodeinde and Kayode Adewuyi, were Thursday, arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s court for allegedly robbing one Adebayo Rachael of his property worth N158, 300.

The suspects docked before Magistrate A. O. Komolafe are facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and robbery.

The police Prosecutor, E. I. Nnamonu told the court that the defendants committed the offence on August 1, 2013 at Agbado area of Lagos State.

He said while armed with guns and dangerous weapons, the suspects and others now at large did rob one Adebayo Rachael of her HP laptop, recharge cards, N33,500 and also robbed one Biliaminu Fatimah of N6,000, all worth N158,300.

The magistrate, threafter, ordered that the suspects be remanded in prison and adjourned the case to November 5, 2013.
