KANO—Tanker drivers, yesterday, protested the alleged shooting of  a truck driver by a security agent,over alleged N100 bribe by blocking the ever-busy Kano-Wudil federal highway for about four hours.

The protest caused anxiety in the commercial city, even as the state Police Commissioner, Musa Daura hinted that a police Inspector and another Sergeant had been arrested over the incident with a promise that they would be sanctioned if found guilty after an in-house trial, at the state Police headquarters in Bompai, Kano.
