PORT HARCOURT— MEMBER, Board of Trustees of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Gordon Bozimo,   has expressed the  hope that the party will resolve the political differences between Governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State and  his erstwhile Chief of Staff, Government House and now Minister of State for Education, Mr. Nyesom Wike.

Bozimo, in Port Harcourt,  weekend,  described the intra- party crisis in the state as unfortunate, adding that the party was robust enough to calm what he termed frail nerves.

He said: “The whole situation in Rivers State is unfortunate. I know, PDP as a party, is capable of resolving whatever problems it has. They should allow us to resolve the problem. The party is robust enough to calm the frail nerves.”

Urging all sections in the country to encourage President Goodluck Jonathan to succeed,  he enjoined governors in the country to work with the President in the overall interest of the country.

According to him, a situation where some governors saw themselves as equal to the President or even more important than him, should be discontinued with, noting that some of the governors had constituted themselves into a bundle of distraction to the Federal Government.
