Senior Special Assistant to Governor Adams Oshiomhole on Media, Mr. John Mayaki, yesterday, said that the governor was too busy addressing the needs of the good people of Edo State and delivering on his electoral promises and, therefore, has no time to reply Chief Olisah Metuh, National Publicity Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Responding to a statement credited to Metuh, challenging the governor to reply his allegation that he begged to join Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and was rejected, Mayaki said PDP had no such credible personalities as the governor in its fold.
He said: “Oshiomhole is too busy to join issues with a jobless Metuh. The challenges in the state are enormous. The needs of the people of Edo State are of so much importance to the governor, than replying Metuh.
“This recent plot against Edo State and the governor, if anything, shows that PDP has run out of tactics in nailing political opponents. I fear that this party may eventually ruin this country, if it succeeds with its hatched plans towards 2015.”
