Kema Chikwe calls for support for Jonathan’s second tenure

The National Women Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dr. Kema Chikwe has called on members of PDP Core Supporters Network to mobilize Nigerians to ensure through their votes that President Goodluck Jonathan completes his two term tenure, just as his American counterpart Barak Obama.

She reminded her party supporters of the universality of politics and to learn from the American democracy which returned President Obama for a second tenure.

Addressing members of the Network during their Award of Good Governance event recently, Dr. Chikwe observed that democracy without opposition is a failed democracy, but the bitter and dirty opposition practices of Nigeria’s opposition parties must be discouraged especially as members of these parties were originally PDP members who defected from PDP in search of ‘greedier pastures’.

She called for support of Nigerians for the President’s pursuit of transformation and sustainable democracy for all Nigerians
