Kano blast: Security beefed up in Jigawa

Dutse – Following the deadly bomb blast in Kano yesterday, security has been beefed up in some parts of Jigawa  state.

Vanguard observed increase  in the presence of security operatives on patrol  in Dutse, the state capital.  Security agents have also intensified the searching of vehicles entering and leaving Dutse along the Kano-Jigawa road.

Interestingly, Jigawa state has been very peaceful since the insurgent of terrorist activities in some northern states in the country.
