The Board of Rangers Football Club of Enugu has been reconstituted by the state governor, Barrister Sullivan Chime with the former Chief Executive Officer,CEO of the club, Ozo Paul Chibuzor as the Vice Chairman/General Manager.
According to Mr Chijioke Agu, the state’s commissioner of youth and sports, Mr Festus Onuh has been appointed the chairman of the board, with Afam Udeani, Aloysius Maduka, Barrister Steve Orurua, chief Ernest Ufele and Achinuke Mgbatogu as Board members.
The commissioner charged the new Rangers Board to live up to expectation by ensuring that the club not only regains the number one position in the Nigerian Premier League but also returns to continental competitions in no distant time. The new Board has a wider representation including captains of industries, old Rangers players and a member of the Supporters of the club.
It would be recalled that the tenure of the former Rangers Board headed by Sam Onyishi expired last August.
