Students can now work and study – ABP

THE Association of Business Practitioners, United Kingdom and Farayem Training Centre, Ibadan Nigeria have concluded plans to give Nigerian students who are working opportunities to acquire professional qualifications abroad in their chosen area of study.

Disclosing this to newsmen in Lagos yesterday at a briefing to herald series of public seminars which will begin from November 2, 2001 was Mr Abiodun Omotade, Director and Mr Samuel Olagunju, General Administrator of Farayem Training Centre said “the programme is designed to train Nigerian students for internationally accredited professional programme of ABE (Association of Business Executive) and ABP ( Association of Business Practitioners), both of which are pathways to preferred British degree”, adding that “our main objective is to demonstrate to stakeholders in the education sector cheaper pathways to British undergraduate and post-graduate qualifications”.

They explained that the seminars which will be delivered by the ABP Director of Foreign Operations, London, Dr Dennis Jones will take place in Nigerian cities of Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja and Port Harcourt, saying that the programme is very affordable to Nuigerian students, especially the working class group and it will be a face-to-face class interaction, whereby the students will study two years in Nigeria before proceeding to the United Kingdom to complete the programme with an award of certificate which will be issued by the ABE and ABP.
