Oshimili North: Tribunal nullifies Mozea’s election

By Tommy Anaduaka

Delta State Governorship and House of Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Asaba has nullified the election of Mr. Patrick Mozea, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate representing Oshimili North in the state House of Assembly.

In its ruling, the panel of judges, led by Hon. Justice Dakwa, in a unanimous decision, ruled that the April House of Assembly election held in Oshimili North constituency was inconclusive and ordered for supplementary elections to be held in some wards and units of the local government within 90 days.

Reacting to the judgment, the petitioner and immediate past member representing Oshimili North in the state assembly, Princess Pat Ajudua, in an interview, expressed appreciation to God, and described the judiciary as the last hope of the oppressed.
