Anti rape rioters killed Yari’s CSO – Police source

The Zamfara State Governor’s Chief Security Officer, CSO, Police Superintendent Ibrahim Bamuche, who was declared missing by the state police command, may have been killed by women who were protesting against rapists in Jos, Plateau State, about three weeks ago.

SUPOL Bamuche was on his way to the Plateau State capital for a promotional course  when he reportedly ran into a group of female protesters who allegedly killed him at Maraban Jama’a in the state.

The women were said to be protesting against incessant rape cases of women and children by men from a particular religious group when the CSO who was allegedly said to have stopped to buy some snacks, having traveled for a long distance, unknowingly ran into them.

According to a police source in Jos, ‘’Supol Bamuche stopped to buy some snacks after driving for long distance.

’’He parked his car and went to some shops which were under lock and key and apparently decided to cross the road to look for something to eat, not knowing that some women were protesting against certain tribes or religious groups, which they suspect that their men had been raping women including children in the area.

’’As soon as they women protesters accosted him, they killed him him with sticks and other crude weapons before setting his car on fire.
