As the enlarged Nigerian media family and indeed the entire country prepare to celebrate the glorious exit of Ikenna Ndaguba MFR, broadcaster par excellence, the quintessential wordsmith and grandmaster of the spoken word, a week along programme of activities has been released by the Ikenna Ndaguba National Burial Committee to be held in Lagos, Abuja and Onitsha in Anambra State the home town of Ikenna Ndaguba.
Media practitioners from all over the country and Ikenna Ndaguba’s admirers from other spheres of life are expected to converge at Broadcasting House Ikoyi, Lagos on Tuesday November 1, 2011 for an evening of reminiscences in honour of the deceased at 5 p.m.
The Abuja leg of Ikenna Ndaguba’s Burial Programme takes off on Thursday 3rd November, 2011 with a nite of Tributes at Thisday Dome by 6pm. Service of Songs is at All Christian Mission Cathedral No. 2 Logon Close Off Nile Street Maitama Abuja on Wednesday November 9.
Ikenna Ndaguba’s body leaves Abuja Airport for Onitsha en route Asaba Airport, where he will be interred on November 12.
