Sunshine Stars of Nigeria, Saturday qualified for the semifinal of this year’s CAF Confederation Cup after beating visiting JS Kabylie of Algeria 1-0 inside the Gateway International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.
The Akure-based club, who are making their international debut, finished second in Group B with 11 points behind Maghreb de Fes of Morocco, who thumped Motema Pembe of DR Congo 3-0 in the other match in the group.
Sunshine will now clash with Interclube of Angola, who finished top of Group A.
